United States v. Stericycle, Inc., No. 1:21-cv-00012-JNP (D. Utah Jan. 29, 2021). A settling CAA defendant that violated emission limits for nitrogen oxides at its medical waste incinerator in the ozone nonattainment area of North Salt Lake, Utah, among other related violations, must pay a $600,000 civil penalty and conduct a supplemental environmental project to replace 15-20 pre-2006 diesel school buses with low emitting models at an estimated cost of $2,000,000.
