EPA announced the availability of its Policy Assessment for the Review of the National Ambient Air Quality Standards for Particulate Matter, which builds on the December 2019 Integrated Science Assessment for Particulate Matter and is intended to bridge the gap between currently available scientific information and the judgments required of the Administrator in determining whether to retain or revise existing NAAQS for particulate matter.
