Tennessee: Wildlife

The Department of Environment and Conservation proposed amendments to regulations governing rare plant protection and conservation regulations. The amendments would update the endangered plant list by removing, adding, and correcting names that appear on the current list. A hearing will be held January 17, 2024. Rhode Island: Water

The Department of Health proposed amendments to regulations governing public drinking water. The amendments would establish a maximum contaminant level of 20ppt for six PFAS contaminants: perfluorooctanoic acid (PFOA), perfluorooctane sulfonic acid (PFOS), perfluorohexane sulfonic acid (PFHxS), perfluorononanoic acid (PFNA), and perfluoroheptanoic acid (PFHpA), and perfluorodecanoic acid (PFDA). A hearing will be held December 13, 2023. Comments are due December 22, 2023.
