The Department of Natural Resources proposed amendments to regulations governing statewide materials recycling and effective recycling programs. The amendments would update annual reporting requirements, clarify enforcement requirements, codify material recovery facility guidance, and update policy on variances and exemptions allowed to meet requirements of an effective recycling program. A hearing will be held January 17, 2024. Comments are due January 24, 2024.
