Below are summaries of Bills Introduced, Committee Reports, Chamber Actions, and Public Laws reported in the most recent issue of ELR's Weekly Update.

would recognize the importance of the United States International Boundary Water Commission and its recent efforts to address trash, sediment, and water quality issues with its Mexican counterparts, Comisión Internacional de Límites y Aguas.

would improve rangeland conditions and restore grazing levels within Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument in Utah.

would amend the Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act and egg, meat, and poultry inspection laws to ensure that consumers receive notification regarding food products produced from crops, livestock, or poultry raised on land where sewage sludge was applied.

would impose limitations on consent decrees and settlement agreements that require agencies to take regulatory action in accordance with the terms.

would amend the CAA to eliminate certain requirements under the renewable fuel program and prohibit EPA from approving the introduction of gasoline that contains greater than 10-volume-percent ethanol into commerce. 

would repeal EPA's renewable fuel program.

would adapt to changing crude oil market conditions.

would limit the level of premium subsidy provided by the Federal Crop Insurance Corporation to agricultural producers.
