EPA seeks comment on applications from Volkswagen Group of America, Inc. for off-cycle carbon dioxide credits under the Agency's light-duty vehicle greenhouse gas emissions standards.

EPA issued a final rule to address scientific integrity requirements in the creation of a contract clause for inclusion in solicitations and contracts when the contractor may be required to perform, communicate, or supervise scientific activities or use scientific information to perform advisory and assistance services.

EPA proposed amendments to the standards of performance for volatile organic liquid storage vessels (including petroleum liquid storage vessels) for which construction, reconstruction, or modification commenced after July 23, 1984; the amendments would allow an alternative standard for owners and operators of such storage vessels in certain cases.

EPA issued and seeks comment on an advanced notice of proposed rulemaking (ANPRM) concerning its promulgation of national minimum criteria for existing and new coal combustion residuals landfills and surface impoundments; the ANPRM is the Agency's first step in implementing the D.C. Circuit's 2018 ruling in Utility Solid Waste Activities Group v. Environmental Protection Agency, which vacated and remanded the provision of the criteria that exempted inactive impoundments at inactive facilities.

EPA proposed to approve New Mexico's application to revise its underground injection control program for Class I injection wells located within the state, except within Indian lands; the revisions remove the current ban on Class I injection wells and establish new permit conditions, oversight, and enforcement.
