The Tennessee Department of Environment and Conservation proposed amendments to Tenn. Comp. R. & Regs. 0400-40-05. The proposed amendments would, among other things, update provisions concerning sanitary sewer overflows, require POTWs and domestic dischargers to report releases that do not reach waters in addition to sanitary sewer overflows that do reach waters, and reconfirm that industrial discharges from any location other than a permitted outfall are prohibited.
