The Department of Health and Environmental Control proposed to revise S.C. Reg. 61-58, State Primary Water Regulations, in accordance with the National Primary Drinking Water Regulations: Revisions to the Total Coliform Rule. The revisions would eliminate the maximum contaminant level for total coliform and establish requirements for public water systems pertaining to coliform. Deadline for comment is October 31, 2013.
