The Department of Environmental Quality proposed to adopt Or. Admin. R. Chapter 340.041, pertaining to the state's water quality standards. Changes would alter the human health toxics criteria based on fish ingestion method to be based on a fish consumption rate of 175 grams per day and revise intake credit rules to allow the department to take into account background pollutants, among numerous other changes.
