The Public Utilities Commission is proposing to amend Or. Admin. R.860-031-0035 regarding gas storage and pipeline safety. Changes would increase the maximum civil penalty from $10,000 to $200,000 per event per day, and increase the maximum penalty for a series of failures from $500,000 to $2,000,000.
