The Department of Environmental Quality proposed to amend Okla. Admin. Code §§252:100-2-3, 252:100-39-4, and 252:100-39-40, -41, and -47, and adopt §252:100-37-27. The proposed amendments would, among other things, provide the aerospace industry with updated requirements that better reflect current aerospace industry coating formulations and practices, provide a section of rules from which volatile organic compounds (VOCs) with low vapor pressure may be exempt, correct dates of Oklahoma's non-oxidant season to ensure that cutback asphalt cannot be used during the state's extended ozone season, and revise references used for pressure and vapor testing for transport and delivery of VOCs to the most recent EPA regulations. A hearing will be held October 10, 2018. Comments are due October 5, 2018. See http://www.oar.state.ok.us/register/Volume-35_Issue-24.htm#a19481.
