The Department of Environmental Quality proposed to add Okla. Admin. Code 252.100.17, Biomedical Waste Incinerators. The rule would add design requirements, emission standards, and control technology for this type of incinerator and would close a regulatory gap regarding pathological waste, low-level radioactive waste, and chemotherapeutic wastes.
