The North Dakota Department of Health will hold a public hearing to address proposed amendments to N.D. Admin. Code Article 33-20, Solid Waste Management. The purpose of the proposed amendments is to change the requirements for final cover design for special waste landfills to be equivalent to the final cover requirements for municipal waste landfills. Special waste landfills and municipal waste landfills will also be given the option of utilizing alternative final cover designs if it is demonstrated that the design will meet the prescribed percolation requirements.
