The New Mexico Environmental Improvement Board will hold a public hearing on proposed amendments to 20.2.99 NMAC, Air Quality Control Regulations. The amendments would incorporate provisions necessary to make 20.2.99 NMAC consistent with CAA §176(c) as amended by the Safe Accountable Flexible Efficient Transportation Equity Act (SAFETEA-LU) on August 10, 2005 (Pub. L. No. 109-59). The proposed revisions also include minor amendments required by federal regulations that are not related to SAFETEA-LU.
