The State Environmental Commission adopted amendments to Nev. Admin. Code §486A, altering the definitions and regulations of fuels classified as "alternative" or "clean." The amendments clarified the requirement that at least 90 percent of new vehicles acquired or replaced by the operator of a fleet consist of clean vehicles, hybrid electric vehicles, or motor vehicles that are capable of using alternative fuel, and redefined various types of alternative fuel. http://www.leg.state.nv.us/register/2010Register/R022-10A.pdf.
