The Montana Board of Environmental Review is proposing to amend Mont. Admin. R. 17.24, regarding rules and regulations governing opencut mining. The proposed revisions address reclamation bonds, access roads, and exemptions from mining permits, among other changes. A public hearing will be held on December 11, 2015.
