The Department of Environmental Protection amended Ch. 1000, State of Maine Guidelines for Municipal Shoreland Zoning Ordinances. Changes alter the date of the data set used for the purposes of establishing Resource Protection District areas, specifically those adjacent to freshwater wetlands that are rated as moderate or high value waterfowl and wading bird habitat by the Department of Inland Fisheries and Wildlife.
