The Department of Environmental Protection proposed to amend 06-096 Code Me. Regs. Chs. 81 & 82, Designation of Priority Toxic Chemicals and Priority Toxic Chemical Reporting and Pollution Prevention Planning. Changes would add a number of chemicals, including cadmium and formaldehyde, to the list of priority toxic chemicals, and establish details applicable to reporting and prevention requirements related to the list.
