The Board of Pesticides Control proposed to amend 01-026 Code Me. Regs. Chs. 28, 33, 41, & 60. Among other changes, the amendments would allow for notification of aerial spraying within 1,000 feet of sensitive areas, establish procedures for licensing growers who use only general-use pesticides and annually produce at least $1,000 of plant produce, and remove from the Deblois Fish Hatchery the designation of a critical pesticide control area.
