The Department of Natural Resources adopted new rules LAC 43:I, Chapter 41, Certification of Land Conservation Organizations. The rules are intended to establish objective standards and procedures for determining that an applicant for certification actively and effectively works to conserve land by undertaking or assisting in land or easement acquisitions or by engaging in the stewardship of land or easements.
