The Pollution Control Board adopted amendments to 35 Ill. Code r. 303, Water Use Designations and Site-Specific Water Quality Standards. The amendments establish a 3.0 milligram per liter (mg/L) alternative boron standard to the generally applicable 1.0 mg/L boron water quality standard.
