The Department of Natural Resources proposed to amend 62 Ill. Admin. Code §240.796. Changes would regulate the monitoring of Class II UIC wells in order to determine whether these wells contribute to seismic activity. Public hearings will take place on November 26 and December 3, 2013, and the deadline for comment is January 3, 2014.
