The Department of Lands adopted pending Idaho Admin. Code r. 20.0201.1301, pertaining to the Idaho Forest Practices Act. If approved by the Idaho state legislature, the new rule will establish a streamside tree-retention rule. See http://adminrules.idaho.gov/bulletin/2014/01.pdf (pp. 127-131).
