The Connecticut Department of Environmental Protection will hold a public hearing on proposed revision to 22a-174-1(a)(5), definition of "air pollutant;" 22a-174-3a(a)(1), concerning the obligation of the owners of certain small incinerators to apply for and obtain a new source review (NSR) permit; 22a-174-3a(a)(2)(B), concerning the lack of obligation for gasoline station owners to apply for and obtain a NSR permit; 22a-174-33(c)(2), concerning an exemption for the owners of certain small sources from the requirement to apply for and obtain a Title V operating permit; 22a-174-33(o)(1) and 22a-174-33(q)(1) and (2), shifting the submission deadline for certain periodic reports by Title V source owners without changing the frequency of reporting; and 22a-174-40(d)(5), clarifying the prohibition on the sale and manufacture of consumer products that contain certain toxic pollutants.
