The Department of Public Health and Environment proposed to amend 6 Colo. Code Regs. §1007.2, pertaining to waste tire fees. Changes would require retailers of new motor vehicle tires to collect a waste tire fee of $1.50 on the sale of each tire. A public hearing will be held on August 19, 2014.
