The Air Resources Board will hold a public hearing on proposed amendments to California§s greenhouse gas emission standards. These standards apply on a fleetwide basis to large-volume manufacturers of 2009 through 2016 model year new passenger motor vehicles certified for sale in California. The proposed amendments would allow manufacturer compliance with U.S. EPA standards to be deemed compliant with California§s standards for the 2012 through 2016 model years.
