The Alaska Department of Fish and Game adopted an emergency rulemaking that amends Title 5 of the Alaska Administrative Code, a regulation that addresses requirements for use of up to 200 fathoms of drift gillnet in the Cook Inlet commercial salmon fishery. The revision establishes standards for possession and storage of up to 200 fathoms of drift gillnet gear in areas where the legal limit is less than 200 fathoms.
