FWS announced a 90-day finding on a petition to list the western glacier stonefly and to designate critical habitat under the ESA; the agency found that listing may be warranted and initiated a status review.

FWS revised the 1978 listing of the Minnesota population of gray wolves to include Michigan, all of Minnesota, Wisconsin, and portions of adjacent states; removed the distinct population segment from the list of endangered and threatened wildlife; and removed the designated critical habitat for the wolf in Michigan and Minnesota.
