The Agency of Agriculture, Food, and Markets proposed amendments to the Best Management Practices Rule. The amendments would correct findings from a 2018 audit to align the Best Management Practices Program with current statutes and practices, updating terminology, processes and procedures for project prioritization, operation and maintenance requirements, and the petition process for farmers to abate water quality risks from agricultural pollution.
