The Commission on Environmental Quality adopted amendments to regulations governing quarries in the John Graves Scenic Riverway. The amendments expand permitting and financial assurance requirements for quarries to the new Coke Stevenson Scenic Riverway water quality protection area, continue the requirements in the John Graves Scenic Riverway water quality protection area, and extend the pilot program's expiration date to September 1, 2027.
