The Air Conservation Commission proposed amendments to regulations governing air quality standards, definitions, sampling and reference methods, and air pollution control regulations. The amendments would update construction permit fees for air pollution sources, remove voluntary permit applications, eliminate emergency affirmative defense sections to comply with EPA’s Title V Operation Permit Program regulations, set emission and base fees for calendar years 2025-2028, add 1-bromopropane to the hazardous air pollutant list, update publication dates for materials incorporated by reference, revise asbestos fee structures, and establish the agricultural anhydrous ammonia program upon delegation from EPA. A hearing will be held August 29, 2024. Comments are due September 5, 2024. See https://www.sos.mo.gov/CMSImages/AdRules/moreg/2024/v49n14July15/v49n14.pdf (pp. 1054-1120).
