The Department of Environment proposed to adopt new regulations governing building energy performance standards. The regulations would require covered building owners to measure and report data to the Department and meet specific net direct greenhouse gas emissions and energy use intensity standards, and establish recordkeeping and reporting requirements for electric and gas companies and district energy providers.
