The Department of Health proposed amendments to regulations governing public drinking water. The amendments would establish a maximum contaminant level of 20ppt for six PFAS contaminants: perfluorooctanoic acid (PFOA), perfluorooctane sulfonic acid (PFOS), perfluorohexane sulfonic acid (PFHxS), perfluorononanoic acid (PFNA), and perfluoroheptanoic acid (PFHpA), and perfluorodecanoic acid (PFDA).
