The Water Management Board proposed to amend South Dakota's surface water quality standards. The amendments would, among other things, update ammonia criteria and toxic pollutant criteria, adopt cyanobacteria cyanotoxin criteria, remove the conductivity criteria for irrigation waters, and modify the approval procedure for water restoration and enhancement projects and water quality certification.
