would amend the Wild and Scenic Rivers Act to designate certain segments of the Farmington River and Salmon Brook in the state of Connecticut as components of the National Wild and Scenic Rivers System.

would prohibit the establishment of new units of the National Forest System, National Park System, National Wildlife Refuge System, National Wild and Scenic Rivers System, National Trails System, National Wilderness Preservation System, or any other system established by federal law, or any national conservation or national recreation area, without approval of the applicable state legislature.

would provide for the conveyance of a small parcel of National Forest System land in the Uinta-Wasatch-Cache National Forest in Utah to Brigham Young University.

would establish the Columbine-Hondo Wilderness in the state of New Mexico and provide for the conveyance of certain parcels of National Forest System land in the state.

would amend the Wild and Scenic Rivers Act to designate a segment of the Neches River in the state of Texas for potential addition to the National Wild and Scenic River System.

would establish a grant program to help state and local governments install solar energy systems.

would compel the Secretary of the Army to complete the Great Lakes Mississippi River Interbasin Study within 18 months and focus particular attention on the permanent prevention of the spread of aquatic nuisance species between the Great Lakes and the Mississippi River Basins.
