Establishment of the Climate Change Support Office
By the authority vested in me as President by the Constitution and the laws of the United States of America, including section 202 of the Revised Statutes (22 U.S.C. 2656) and section 3161 of title 5, United States Code, it is hereby ordered as follows:
Section 1. Establishment of the Climate Change Support Office.
would amend Titles 23 and 49, U.S. Code, to require metropolitan planning organizations to consider greenhouse gas emissions in long-range transportation plans and transportation improvement programs.

would help prevent emerging events exacerbated by climate change, which threaten national and international security, by enhancing U.S. government capacities to prevent, mitigate, and respond to such events.
would provide for certain Department of State actions relating to global climate change.
would establish an integrated national approach to respond to ongoing and expected effects of extreme weather and climate change by protecting, managing, and conserving the fish, wildlife, and plants of the United States, and maximize government efficiency and reduce costs, in cooperation with state, local, and tribal governments and other entities.
