The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration and EPA finalized the Safer Affordable Fuel-Efficient (SAFE) Vehicles Rule for Model Years 2021-2026 Passenger Cars and Light Trucks; the rule amends existing greenhouse gas (GHG) and corporate average fuel economy standards for light-duty vehicles and withdraws the waiver previously provided to California for its GHG and zero emission vehicle programs.
