The Department of Natural Resources proposed amendments to Mo. Code Regs. Ann. tit. 10, §§23-3 to -6. The proposed amendments would, among other things, clarify the three types of situations where a liner may be used and provide a clear method for each scenario, clarify how to plug a well based on well type, allow jetted heat pump wells in Drilling Area 5 to be deeper than 75 feet, and update language to be more in line with current industry standards. A hearing will be held September 7, 2018. Comments are due September 14, 2018.
