Missouri: Air

The Air Conservation Commission will conduct a public hearing to consider the amendment of subsection (1)(A) and section (3) of 10 CSR 6-.070, New Source Performance Regulations. If the commission adopts this rule action, it will be submitted to U.S. EPA for delegation of enforcement authority. The hearing will be held June 26, 2008. Montana: Waste

The Department of Environmental Quality will conduct a public hearing in the matter of the amendment of ARM 17.50.501 through 17.50.503, 17.50.508, 17.50.509, and 17.50.513; the adoption of New Rules I through XXV; and the repeal of ARM 17.50.505, 17.50.506, 17.50.510, 17.50.511, 17.50.526, 17.50.530, 17.50.531, 17.50.542, 17.50.701, 17.50.702, 17.50.705 through 17.50.710, 17.50.715, 17.50.716, and 17.50.720 through 17.50.726, pertaining to the licensing and operation of solid waste landfill facilities. The hearing will be held May 14, 2008.

North Dakota: Climate Change

The North Dakota Department of Health will hold a public hearing to address proposed amendments to North Dakota Administrative Code Article 33-34, Specifications and Standards for Petroleum and Fuel Products. The purpose of the amendments is to update the current specifications and standards to address alternative fuels including mixtures containing up to 85% or more by volume of alcohol fuel and mixtures of biodiesel up to 100% biodiesel. The amendments also include labeling requirements for the same. The hearing will be held May 29, 2008. Comments are due June 9, 2008.

South Dakota: Waste

The Department of Environment and Natural Resources, Board of Minerals and Environment, will hold a public hearing to consider the proposal to update the state's existing hazardous waste rules by incorporating updated federal regulations by reference. These updates reflect changes made to the federal hazardous waste rules from July 1, 2006, through June 30, 2007. Changes include establishing a standardized permit for hazardous waste storage facilities and a variety of corrections. The hearing will be held September 18, 2008.
