Delaware: Air

The Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control approved the Delaware Visibility SIP. The SIP satisfies the following Regional Haze Rule requirements: monitoring strategies for evaluating visibility impacts; baselines and trends; long-term strategies; how Delaware meets its fair share of the "reasonable progress goals" towards reducing visibility impairment in Class I areas; and best available retrofit technology.

Delaware: Water

The Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control adopted amendments to 7 Del. Admin. Code 7403, Regulations Governing the Pollution Control Strategy (PCS) for the Indian River, Indian River Bay, Rehoboth Bay, and Little Assawoman Bay Watersheds. The PCS requires any new "major" land development, as defined by local zoning authorities, to include a buffer area adjoining Inland Bays waters that have been mapped by the Department after consultation and public input during the lengthy regulatory development process. The changes became effective November 11, 2008.

Florida: Water

The South Florida Water Management District proposed amendments to 40E-400.315, No Notice General Permit for Activities in Uplands. The changes would delete the partial delegation to Collier County to review and issue environmental resource permits in uplands within the designated boundaries of delegation within Collier County for projects with less than 40 acres in total land area. https://www.flrules.org/Faw/FAWDocuments/FAWVOLUMEFOLDERS2008/3444/3444doc.pdf p. 5712.

Idaho: Air

The Department of Environmental Quality will hold a public hearing on proposed amendments to 58.01.01, Rules for the Control of Air Pollution in Idaho. The proposed rules require Stage 1 gasoline vapor collection for gasoline storage tanks with a capacity of 10,000 gallons or more.
