The Air Resources Board will hold a public hearing on CCR title 13 §2222(j), California Evaluation Procedures for Aftermarket Critical Emission Control Parts on Highway Motorcycles. The proposed procedures would require manufacturers to demonstrate that their aftermarket critical emission control parts would not cause vehicles to exceed applicable exhaust or evaporative emission standards.

California: Air

The Air Resources Board will hold a public hearing on proposed amendments to CCR title 17 §94011, CP-201 Certification Procedure for Vapor Recovery Systems at Gasoline Dispensing Facilities (GDF), and addition of Test Procedure 201.8, Determination of the Permeation Rate from a Gasoline Dispensing Facility Hose. The regulation would control reactive organic gases (ROG) emitted from GDF hoses. By 2014, the proposed regulation will require that existing hoses be replaced with hoses that reduce permeation.

California: Air

The Air Resources Board will hold a public hearing on the proposed addition of CCR title 17 §§95300 though 95312, Regulations to Reduce Greenhouse Gas (GHG) Emissions from Heavy-Duty Vehicles. The proposed regulations would reduce GHG emissions by requiring some of the new and existing on-road tractors and trailers operating on California highways to be equipped with technologies that would result in improved fuel efficiency, and thus reduce GHG emissions.

The South Coast Air Management District (AQMD) seeks public comment on proposed rule 1147, Nitrogen Oxide (NOx) Reductions from Miscellaneous Sources. The proposed rule would regulate equipment that is not required to meet specific NOx emission limits by AQMD Regulation XI, Source Specific Standards.

Florida: Air

The Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) proposed amendments to 62-204.800, Federal Regulations Adopted by Reference; 62-620.100, Scope/Applicability/References; and 62-621.300, Permits. The proposed rule amendments update, through September 30, 2008, the department's adoption-by-reference of air pollution regulations promulgated by U.S. EPA and revise DEP forms to allow applicants to submit using the Department's electronic permitting application.

Florida: Wildlife

The Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission proposed amendments to rule 68B-14.0035, Size Limits: Amberjacks, Black Sea Bass, Gray Triggerfish, Grouper, Hogfish, Red Porgy, Snapper; 68B-14.0036, Recreational Bag Limits: Snapper, Grouper, Hogfish, Black Sea Bass, Red Porgy, Amberjacks, Tilefish, Exception, Wholesale/Retail Purchase Exemption; and 68B-14.0039, Recreational Grouper Season.

Florida: Water

The St. Johns River Water Management District proposed amendments to rule 40C-8.031, Minimum Surface Water Levels and Flows and Groundwater Levels. The proposed rule would establish or amend established minimum water levels for certain lakes and springs. Each of the established or amended levels has either an associated hydroperiod category or a duration and return interval.

Indiana: Air

The Air Pollution Control Board proposed amendments to 326 IAC 8-10-1 through 326 IAC 8-10-7 and 326 IAC 8-10-9 concerning automobile refinishing operations.
