The Department of Environmental Protection repealed and replaced Ch. 117, Source Surveillance--Emissions Monitoring. Changes alter the rule to better reflect improvements in monitoring technology and provide a standard protocol for emerging gaseous pollutant monitoring. Maryland: Air

The Department of the Environment amended Md. Code Regs. 26.11.19, Volatile Organic Compounds from Specific Processes. The amendment adopts the requirements of U.S. EPA's Control Techniques Guidelines for miscellaneous metal and plastic parts coating. Maryland: Climate Change

The Department of the Environment amended Md. Code Regs. 26.09, Maryland Carbon Dioxide Budget Trading Program. Changes implement provisions of the Healthy Air Act, which required Maryland to join the Regional Greenhouse Gas Initiative, a 10-state market based carbon dioxide cap-and-trade program.
