The Noxious Weed Control Board proposed to amend Wash. Admin. Code §16.750, State noxious weed list and schedule of monetary penalties. Changes would add and alter noxious weed listings, and add a new section on listing guidelines. There will be a public hearing November 1, 2011, and the deadline for written comment is October 31. The Forest Practices Board proposed to amend Wash. Admin. Code §§222.20.120 & 222.30.021, relating to forest practices and riparian management zones. Changes would create a process for forest landowners to meet their obligations related to contacting tribes and planning for cultural resource protection.
