EPA announced the availability of and seeks comment on a draft revision to the risk determination for the methylene chloride risk evaluation issued under TSCA; the Agency found that methylene chloride presents an unreasonable risk of injury to health when evaluated under its conditions of use. 

EPA amended the significant new uses of chemical substances regulations under TSCA to align with revisions that were made to the OSHA Hazard Communications Standard and changes to the OSHA Respiratory Protection Standard and the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health respirator certification requirements for the respiratory protection of workers from chemical exposure.

A proposed settlement under FIFRA concerning the distribution and sale of unregistered pesticides requires plaintiff to pay $1.5 million, imposes injunctive relief, and resolves plaintiff's claims against EPA as well as the United States' counterclaim. 

DOE and DOT established the Electric Vehicle Working Group to make recommendations regarding the development, adoption, and integration of electric vehicles into U.S. transportation and energy systems. 

EPA announced any enforcement activity for the Agency's Agricultural Worker Protection Standard (WPS) regulations under FIFRA related to the application exclusion zone should be conducted based on the 2015 WPS.
