United States v. Sprague Resources LP

Settling CAA defendants in relation to emissions of volatile organic compounds (VOC) without required permits at their heated petroleum (asphalt and #6 oil) storage and distribution facilities in Everett and Quincy, Massachusetts; Searsport and South Portland, Maine; Newington (River Road), New Hampshire; and Providence, Rhode Island, must pay civil penalties of $350,000, including $205,000, plus interest, to the United States and $145,000 to Massachusetts, and perform certain measures at the facilities to limit future VOC emissions.
