A settling CERCLA defendant responsible for violations at the BKK Sanitary Landfill Superfund site in West Covina, California, agrees to pay $1 million in U.S. response costs on behalf of all three defendants and will pay $85 million toward cleanup of the site under a separate pending consent decree.
