United States v. Intalco Aluminum Corp.

A settling CERCLA defendant responsible for releases of hazardous substances from the tailings and waste rock piles at the Holden Mine Superfund site in Chelan County, Washington, which is within the Okanogan-Wenatchee National Forest, must pay a portion of the response costs incurred by the United States.
