Settling OPA defendants that own and operate a pipeline that ruptured and discharged oil into Talmadge Creek, the Kalamazoo River, and adjoining shorelines in Michigan must pay $1,484,952, plus interest, in past natural resource damage assessment costs incurred by federal trustees; must pay $150,000, plus interest, to two Indian Tribes; must complete a number of natural resource damage restoration projects in accordance with established or approved workplans and schedules; and must pay $2,265,048, plus interest, to a Restoration Account to fund additional natural resource restoration projects and activities.
