A settling CAA defendant that failed to ensure that any refrigerant contained in the appliances and motor vehicles it accepted for recycling at three scrap metal recycling facilities was properly recovered must pay $442,500 in civil penalties and ensure that all ten of its facilities in Texas and Oklahoma are operating in compliance with applicable federal laws and regulations.
