Under a proposed modification to a 2002 consent decree, a settling CWA defendant responsible for violations in the operation of its sewer system and wastewater control plant in Baltimore, Maryland, will be given more time to conduct the necessary work using a two-phased approach, with all work to be completed no later than December 2030, followed by two years of post-implementation monitoring.
